We recite brachot over the candles, wine and bread, as well as the blessing over the sukkah each time we enter it.
Blessed are You, Eternal One Our G-d, Universal Presence, Who sancifies us with mitzvot (paths of holiness) and gives us this mitzvah of kindling the festival lights. |

On each day of the festival (except for Shabbat), we take the Lulav and Etrog, recite a blessing over them, bring them together in our hands and wave them in all six directions: right, left, forward, backward, up and down. The Midrash (part of the Oral Torah) tells us that the Four Kinds represent the various types and personalities that comprise the community of Israel, whose natural unity we emphasize on Sukkot.
